Always looks for the cheapest but most effective way to complete whatever task at hand I have for him, between plowing snow, leveling out a new building site, fixing damage to supports in my shop and so forth. I want to begin by saying, wow. I could sum up this review by saying this company and this man, Justin Phillips, truly went above and beyond for my family. If that were not enough to convince you, let me tell you from the beginning just how wonderful working with this contractor has been. We were in the process of moving to Idaho from Texas, and even being more than a thousand miles away, Justin was always accessible for questions and concerns and kept great communication with me and my husband. He developed our property from ground zero and made our vision come to life. He laid the permanent foundation for our home, installed the septic, trenched and did all the finish work. He worked so well and professionally with all the other company’s, including the home company, the electricians and other contractors we had that were needed. He was always willing to lend a hand where needed and answer every one of my questions I had. We couldn’t be more grateful and would recommend him a thousand times over to anyone searching for these services. A heartfelt thank you to Three Bear Contracting, Justin.

Another 5 star review? Yes, he deserves it! We had Justin come out to Grangeville and give us a bid on a new septic system and bring water from the well to our new house. He was very straightforward. He told us standards and then he told us what he would do, which was so much better than standards. He didn't pressure us to go with the upgrades he gave us options. At no point did he pressure us. He bid this project in late winter or early spring, due to the complexity of the loan, he didn't do the work until July. He got us into his busy summer schedule quite fast, as the notice for closing was quite sudden. Him and his guy were very professional and worked quickly. They actually cleaned after themselves and left no trace of ever being there. Justin coordinated with the inspector and all was signed off with the local health department. However, when we pulled the permit for the close of the construction loan, the inspector wrote a condition on it. Nobody knew until it was almost too late. I sent the permit to Justin and he immediately called me. He called the inspector and it needed to be done. The inspector told us he added it in when he got back to his office. Well long story short, it needed done and Justin cleared his schedule to get it done within three days of knowing about it. He is a great contractor, he answered all my questions, he is very responsive, and is all around a great guy. I never felt uncomfortable, talked down to, or felt like an idiot for my dumb questions. If you ever need hunting tips, he's your guy too! I would recommend him to anyone that wants their project done quickly and correctly.

We had a problem with our drain field, I called 3 Bear Contracting. Justin took charge and immediately started the process to replace it. Justin and his crew had it replaced and working again in one day. That day it was 100 degrees and they kept working in that heat to get it finished. I was amazed how efficiently they worked together. Very professional. I will definitely call them again if needed.

Justin was very professional and kept me advised of what was going on and of any updates on the project. I needed my project competed as soon as possible because the closing date on selling my house was fast approaching and Three Bear Contracting was on the job and completed the project in record time. Wow, what can I say?

Originally had Justin and the guys out to take down a few complicated trees…

Wound up hitting it off with them famously and having them grade a 200 x 250‘ area including gravel….

For the seven days they were here, I didn’t see them walk from one place to another once…. They hustled and ran, worked quickly and efficiently and with military precision.

Justin and the guys are a pleasure to work with, completely trust worthy and easy to recommend…

Justin has a wide field of knowledge and is a wealth of information in all things from contracting excavation and much much more.

Anybody should feel comfortable working with THREE BEAR CONTRACTING.

I contacted Three Bear Contracting to have some grading and soil removal completed on the side and front of my yard. Justin called me back within the first hour and indicated that he would be able to come out the next day to look at the project. Justin did come out the next day and I reviewed the project with him. He gave me a estimate of what the project would cost, and indicated that he would have a bid over to me the next day. As promised Justin sent the formal bid to me the next day. I signed the contract with Justin and the work was scheduled for the following Tuesday. Justin and his crew did all that was requested and did an excellent job, I would certainly use them again on any other project. They are efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and keep you well informed GREAT JOB. 4-25-2023
